Yes. All resources in the Repository are available at no charge to practitioners, government staff, students, community members and other users.
The library of resources, guidelines, and best practice documents within the Repository are publicly accessible and open to the general public without an account. However, registration is required to access the self-taught e-learning courses on the E-Learning platform and all Directories, including listings of expert practitioners, training providers, funding opportunities, and learning networks. This simple registration is free of charge.
The Repository is designed to be a knowledge reservoir that caters to learners, trainers, and organizations alike. The platform is dedicated to supporting capacity building across the six nations of the Coral Triangle and is intended to be accessible to all CT practitioners. The content is useful for practitioners, government staff, students, and wider stakeholders.
Accessibility is paramount, and the design prioritizes users in areas of limited bandwidth. The curated materials prioritize low-resolution materials (<10MB for download) where feasible, and resources are downloadable to enable participants to secure them for offline use. The main interface is designed to be user-friendly for both computer and smartphone devices, and the host platform is set for low-bandwidth access.
The Repository aims to be accessible in diverse languages. Materials are sourced and provided in English and a range of CT languages such as Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, Tetun, and Tagalog. For community users, materials (especially audio and video) in more localized languages like Pidjin English, Tok Pisin, and Visayan are also offered where available. An auto-translate function is also available on many pages to enable users to translate material into their chosen language.
